Easy Twisted Ear Warmer Crochet Pattern
R1: To begin, create a chain until it fits snugly but comfortably around your head. HDC into each CH starting in the second CH from the hook until the end of the row.
R2: CH 1, HDC BLO into each ST starting in the first ST from the hook until the end of the row.
R3-12: Repeat R2, tie off. To create the twist: First, fold the short edges of the ear warmer in half facing towards each other.
Connect the folded edges as seen in the picture below, leaving at least a half inch of space in the folded edge. Taking a tapestry needle, sew the folded edges together where they meet in the middle.
It may be necessary to sew along the section several times to be sure that it will not come undone.
Once you have attached the folded edges of the ear warmer, flatten out the fabric so that the top edges of the folds that have not been sewn together are clearly visible.
We will now sew these edges together with the tapestry needle to complete the twist.
Finally, tie off and weave in any loose yarn ends and turn the ear warmer inside out so that the edges that have been sewn together are on the inside.
